Celebrating an Incredible Monte Carlo Casino Night Fundraiser: A Heartfelt Thank You!

We are absolutely thrilled and overwhelmed with gratitude to announce that our Monte Carlo Casino Night Fundraiser raised a remarkable $58,000 for St. Ann School! What an incredible night of excitement, generosity, and community spirit. We are truly humbled and blessed by the outpouring of support and the shared commitment to the future of our school.

The funds raised will go directly toward enhancing our classroom technology, upgrading security measures, and renovating facilities—investments that will empower our students to reach their full potential and ensure they thrive in an environment that fosters growth and learning.

On Saturday, February 22, we had the honor of hosting a sold-out event at the beautiful Lageret venue, where we welcomed 250 amazing guests. The evening brought together our event sponsors, St. Ann School families, teachers, staff, and members of the Stoughton and surrounding communities. The energy in the room was truly special, and we couldn't have asked for a better group of people to join us in supporting our mission.

The evening kicked off with a lively cocktail hour, where guests enjoyed drink tokens for a signature cocktail or a drink of their choice, mingled with friends, and perused an incredible selection of silent auction items. Guests were also treated to delicious bites prepared by Wendigo Tavern, adding to the festive atmosphere.

One of the evening's highlights was a heartfelt video presentation with the theme, "What do you love about St. Ann School?" The video captured the heart and soul of our school community. Alumni and dedicated title sponsor Meg Veek, Principal Aimee Stano, and some of our incredible students all shared their personal stories of why St. Ann is such a special place. School families added their voices, reflecting the deep love and appreciation we have for our faith, community, and academic excellence.

After the video, we took a moment to thank our amazing teachers who pour their hearts and souls into educating our students. Their commitment to nurturing Christ-like values and service-minded individuals is something we are profoundly grateful for.
We then had the exciting announcement of our Golden Ticket raffle winner, Mona Beckham, who received $1,000 in tuition credit at St. Ann School! A big thank you to everyone who participated in this raffle—whether you won or not, your support is making a difference in the lives of our students.

Next up, we indulged in a dessert table generously donated by Nothing Bundt Cakes, featuring their delicious Bundt cakes. And then, the casino tables came alive! The energy was palpable as guests crowded around the Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, and Poker tables, with every table buzzing with excitement and laughter. At check-in, each guest received $500 in "funny money" to use for the games, and the fun continued throughout the evening. The live music by Soggy Prairie was the perfect backdrop, offering a mix of bluegrass, country, Americana, and original compositions that kept the dance floor alive.

The second half of the evening was nothing short of spectacular, with our dynamite DJ, Todd Greenwald, keeping the party going as the dance floor filled up. As guests finished their games, they exchanged their funny money for raffle tickets to win one of four amazing raffle baskets, each valued at $400-$500. These baskets—Health and Wellness, Sports, Foodie and Wine, and Family Fun—were filled with incredible donations from our generous sponsors. Congratulations to the lucky winners, and thank you to all our sponsors for making these baskets so desirable!

Meanwhile, our online Silent Auction was in full swing, with over $20,000 raised! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated items and placed bids, as your contributions directly support our mission to ensure the continued success and growth of our school.

The evening was a beautiful celebration of friends, community, and a shared commitment to St. Ann School. We were so touched to see that even as the clock struck 10 p.m., our venue was still packed with energy and enthusiasm. It was a reminder of just how special our school community is and how much love and support we have behind us.
